    Due to fire system and equipment testing, the venue for Chinese Speech Classes U329-31, U330-26 & U428-5 scheduled on 8-9 Dec has been moved, please refer to the notice for details.

  • Special Speech Festival Competition Arrangements regarding Tai Po Fire Incident (12 Dec)

    Today’s (12 Dec) Speech Festival competitions will proceed as scheduled.

    In view of the serious fire incident in Tai Po causing severe traffic disruption, the Association has made the following special arrangements for competitions held in the **New Territories East district**:

    1. Competitors arriving late at New Territories East venues will NOT have their results affected – late arrivals will still receive both marks and comments.
    2. Competitors who are unable to attend for any reason will NOT be offered a re-scheduled performance.

    The Association recommends all competitors heading to the affected venues to travel by MTR and allow ample travel time. For any enquiries, please contact us at 2761 3877.

  • Change of Competition Venue
    Please note that the competition venue for the following classes has been changed from Methodist International Church – Sky Chapel (22/F) to Maestro Art School of Music – Concert Hall. The competition date, time and the assigned order are remain unchanged.
    • N143-2 Piano Solo – Chinese Composers – Intermediate
    • N142 Piano Solo – Chinese Composers – Senior
    • U156 Piano Duet – Senior
    • N213-5 Violin Solo – Grade Four
    • N219-1 Violin Duet – Intermediate

    Please note that the competition venue for the following classes has been changed from Methodist International Church – Sky Chapel (22/F) to Hong Kong Scout Centennial Building- Rooms 502-3 (5/F). The competition date, time and the assigned order are remain unchanged.
