Hong Kong International Choral Gala

Step into a professional public coaching session guided by your chosen overseas maestro, and experience the artistry of choral conducting up close. Designed for both conductors and enthusiastic observers, this masterclass allows participants to deepen their understanding of rehearsal techniques, musical interpretation, and choral leadership through live demonstrations and expert guidance.

Coaches and Demo Choirs:

Work directly with one of the three overseas maestros, accompanied by their respective choir as your demonstration choir

Target:

HKSMSA member choir conductors, music teachers, and music enthusiasts

Conductors: 20-minute hands-on coaching session
Observers: 60-minute observation session

Remarks:

Eligibility & Priority: Registration is open to all HKSMSA member choirs and local community choirs. Priority will be given to HKSMSA Members on a first-come, first-served basis.
Schedule: Timeslots will be allocated according to your preference and availability of the maestros. HKSMSA reserves the right to change the schedule of the programme.
Scheduling Announcement: Applicants will be notified of the application and scheduling result no later than 16 October 2026.
Refund Policy: If your application is unsuccessful, you will receive a full refund after the registration deadline of 4 October 2026.
Scores & Materials: Successful applicants should obtain relevant scores on their own; all materials for this event should comply with relevant copyright laws.
